I just installed my AWS, and boy, are my thumbs tired!

But seriously folks...

I had to span a door threshold and cross my patio with the 1/4" tube.  I did not want to crush the tube by walking on it nor trip on it so I put it in a cord protector.

I also found some in 10' and 15' sizes and different colors too.  This is great for weighing down the hose and crossing open spaces.

Good idea! I have quite a ways to go between my spigot and my garden, so I just tacked the 1/4" tubing along the bottom edge of my siding using plastic cable clamps and tucking the tubing along the edge of the door threshold. I think if I keep this gardening thing up and plan on staying in this house for a while, it might be worth it to have another outdoor spigot installed.

I simply buried my tubing ~6" deep inside PVC pipe in all walkways or areas where the tubing might be vulnerable to damage from any source.

Burying is great and I did tack some hose along the building.  I don't have an option to build another spigot (without a couple thousand bucks) and burying was not an option in two key places.
