hose fittings
« on: June 18, 2022, 02:58:18 pm »
Any tips for getting the hose on the fittings of the AWS? I had to use boiling water and the hose got so hot I almost burned my fingers before they would actually go on the barbs. I need connect the smaller hose fittings in place, so this was actually impossible. I had to use a larger diameter hose.

Any suggestions???

You only need to warm the tubing a little bit, boiling water is way too hot. For adding fittings in a similar situation I've used a BBQ starter and hitting the tubing with the flame for about a second. Unconventional, and maybe unwise,  but it worked for me
Why Google, when you have me?
