Hi there - first time EarthBox user. I planted my EB two weeks ago with two tomato plants in exactly the layout and installation order described in the instructions....or so I thought. I just realized that I installed the screen backward in the box. Essentially, the corner cut outs on the screen don't line up with the the sectioned off corners in the bottom of the EarthBox that are on the opposite side of the overflow drain. The overflow drain and the fill tube are on opposite sides of the box.
Now everything's all built up, and the plants show no signs of distress. The soil doesn't feel overly dry when I stick a finger in, and I know I packed the dirt down well in the open corners of the screen. My question is - do I need to dump out the EarthBox and replant the plants again before it's too late? If so, the fertilizer strip will get all mixed in which I've heard is a bad idea. Thoughts on what to do?
