Hello fellow Earthboxers!  I have a few questions about re using growing media and would appreciate any and all help!  How many times do you re use your media?  Do you use enzymes to help break down old roots?  Do you always add lime every season or do you test ph of the media and let that dictate whether or not to add lime?

I always reuse. In fact some of my EBs are 13 years old and I've never dumped any out. Just add new each season, fluff and plant.

No need to check pH in the peat-based professional growing mix, I add dolomite with every replant, sometimes 3 crops per year, and refresh the fertilizer strip.
Why Google, when you have me?
