Pole beans vs bush?

Hello All,
I'm sure this has been covered before, but does anyone know if the planting chart refers to pole vs bush beans?  I'm assuming pole varieties, but am not 100% sure on that.  I have bush variety and was wondering the best way to plant?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'd go 8 bush beans total to give more room for their lateral growth

I do eight bush beans on each side.
