Has anyone figured out a physical barrier that will keep the munks off the Earthbox?  Repellents haven't worked and they are decimating my strawberries!

You could try draping tulle over the plants and securing it with clothespins.

1/4 inch or 1/2 inch mesh hardware cloth (wire).  They can't wiggle through it, bite through it, and you can cut and stich it up with thin wire into a box shape that will fit right over your box.  It comes in a variety of widths and is readily available at any building supply store.   Do NOT use chicken wire, they can crawl right through it.

I got the /12 inch metal "cloth" and made a cover, but they dug in from underneath (there was just enough room between the bottom of the cage, which went straight down and the box, which has slightly sloping sides).  Will try again putting the box on plywood.  Thanks for the encouragement!

I have never found anything that works better than the small Catch 'em Alive traps.  Use good bird seed with lots of sunflower seeds, and other nuts (song bird type mix).  Then,  relocate them.  Works great for me.
