Miracle-Gro® Performance Organics® All Purpose Container Mix

Has anyone used this Miracle Gro Mix as i can't find the composition of it to see if it is good for my earthbox.  also, how bad would it be to only use 1.3 cubic feet of soil instead of 2 as is instructed

The MG potting mix in the green and yellow bag works just fine. In my opinion the MG moisture control potting mix in the blue and black bag is better. Now only putting 1.3 CF vs. 2 CF of mix in your EarthBox will result in a root zone that has too high a moisture content as the wicked water will completely saturate the root zone. Filling completely with potting mix will allow the upper portion of the potting mix profile to be a little drier and more hospitable for your veggies.
