Have extra EB...what to plant?

So I have an extra EB. The pepper plant currently residing in it is wasting valuable real estate. I have a balcony and need to choose plants wisely:) SO what do people recommend planting this late in Chicago? I could do two more tomato plants (can never have enough tomatoes) or try something new. The tomato plants would need to be a hybrid or determinate. I might just get stuck with whatever is left at the garden store Recommendations anyone?
