Zucchini rotting
« on: July 06, 2020, 06:59:04 pm »
My zucchini are rotting before they become full grown. I haven't used my earthboxes in a few years, so I started all anew this year.
I've read that rotting can be from uneven watering and/or lack of calcium. Don't think it can be uneven watering since they are in earthboxes. Is it all right to add calcium to soil now or is there something I can add when I water? The leaves on my squash plants are gigantic....can they be taking away from the zucchini. I am also growing patty pan and they are doing really well (knock on wood!) Thanks in advance for any advice.

The problem is lack of pollination
