I wish I could figure out how to fix my picture. Sorry it is sideways.

The wicking baskets are part of the Earth Box, It was just easier to draw them in the middle. I grow tomatoes. I put the landscape fabric over the compacted wicking basket (the water will wick right through the fabrick), covering the aeration platform and up the sides of the Earth Box. This keeps the roots of the tomato out of the water. I don't want the roots of my tomatoes in the water. When the tomato roots reach the water, they then become hydroponic and that wonderful tomato flavor washes out. I know some gardeners refrain from watering their tomatoes before harvest for that reason.
The tube/hoses that connect the reservoirs of the Earth Boxes, are all connected as low on the side of the container as I can manage. This way the level of all the reservoirs will all be the same and the flow of the water will have minimum disturbance of the wicking basket. I plan on daisy chaining about 14 Boxes together in this fashion. I am sure the hydroponic float valve will work to keep all of the reservoirs topped off Im just not sure that the Earth Box AWS will have the capacity to do the job. I know you use a drip system in your Earth Boxes and I like that system too. Do you turn your drip on and off as needed or leave it on 24/7?
One thing i didn't include in my illustration are the snack tubes for each Earth Box. I think i will include those in the design. At first I was thinking I would add Calcium Nitrate to the fist reservoir and let it flow into each container from their. but I have decided I will get better more even distribution, adding snack tubes to each individual Earth Box. I also neglected to include the fertilizer strips.
All things being level, this design should definitely be a set it and forget it system accept for adding the snack every week.
