Fertilizer placement
« on: May 09, 2022, 11:18:47 am »
Hello, I am new to EB. Just bought one over the weekend. I placed the fertilizer in the middle thinking I would plant peppers which I started indoors already from seeds. I changed my mind and want to grow 2-3 heirloom tomatoes. Is it going to be a problem though if I already put the fertilizer in the middle vs the end/side of the box, as recommended specifically for tomatoes?
Does anyone know why the fertilizer needs to go in the middle for some plants and not for others?

The fertilizer strip can be placed long ways in the middle, short ways in the middle or along the edge of either long side. Now three tomatoes will be one too many, I know this from experience.
Why Google, when you have me?
