Tips/tricks on growing flowers in EB Jr?
« on: February 14, 2021, 04:48:58 pm »
I did a search but didn't find any info on growing flowers in an EB Jr.

In the planting guide, it only focuses on how to space vegetables.

Has anyone had experience with this?

How many plants per box?

Any specific type work better than others?

I would love to hear of others successes (or failures as the case may be). Thank you.

Hi! You can grow 4 flower seedlings in the Junior EarthBox. The fertilizer strip should be placed on the same long side that the water fill tube is on. There are flowers included in the Plant and Fertilizer Placement Chart that came with your Junior instructions. Flowers do well in the EarthBox Junior. I have grown a number of different annuals in them here at the EarthBox garden throughout the years I have taken care of the garden.

There is also a copy of the instructions on our website: https://earthbox.com/media/wysiwyg/PDFs/JR_EBX_Instructions.pdf.

Thank you.  I obviously missed the word "flowers". Have you (or anyone) ever tried perennials?
