refreshing potting mix?
« on: February 20, 2021, 03:09:53 pm »
Hey, long time and happy user of the EB system now with 24 boxes.  Just curious how others refresh their grow medium between plantings?  I typically replace the potting mix after 4-6 harvests (1-2 after tomatoes) and use an extra quart or two of organic worm castings + the expected dolomite and fertilizer.  Anyone else use worm castings or anything else to replenish the medium?   Thanks!

I've got 136 and fluff and add some new mix with every replanting, plus the usual dolomite and granular fertilizer
Why Google, when you have me?

I have red worms living in my earth boxes, so they keep on producing new castings.
