Title: A question about fertilizer for plants that don't need much
Post by: CathyM on September 07, 2022, 06:24:45 pm
I'm reading that okra, peas and nasturtiums (to name a few) perform better in poor soil, that the more nutrients they get, they just produce leafy growth and scant harvest/flowers.  Should the fertilizer for these be reduced?  If so, any idea how much to use?

Okra and pears grow and produce just fine with the normal fertilizer recommendations. Nasturtiums don't grow very well due to the consistent root zone moisture characteristics of the EarthBox system.
