wish earth box would make a box big enough for three rows and maybe a foot longer
-
This is my first year using Eartbox, but a little wider and longer would be nice. Some plants like zucchini can realy dominate the box. It could be a issue of scale, might require a second tunnel for water wicking on the far side. If your handy it would be possible to build a larger box as a test, there are YouTube videos on building an Earthbox. However, they were close in size to the original and with the cost to build and time may not be worth the effort.

I have a friend that made a bench around the earthbox to support the zucchini's and squash.

I've been using the EB trellis system for cucumbers and other vegetables that I've modified with hardware cloth

I wonder if anyone from Novelty ever looks at they forums. I would love to hear a response Pro's Con's or maybe what is the demand for something larger
-
Bigger and wider would change how the dynamics of water is wicked from the reservoir and flow through the growing mix. Also, there probably wouldn't be the demand to tool up. I think I seen some DIY plans online

I know it costs to bring new die sets on line. I would bet they would have demand for a larger box.
A quick look on home depot they sell a lot of boxes between 3 ft x 2ft and 4 ft x 3 ft seems an average size.
I would love to hear what others think. I plan to buy a few more boxes for next year as the three boxes I have now are going extremely well.
I might try and buy a larger box and make something.
Love to hear the discussion on this
