Title: How to Harvest Perfect Produce
Post by: joni barr on January 13, 2021, 01:08:29 pm
After all the work that has been put into growing in your EarthBox, it is important to harvest the vegetables properly. Knowing when to pick your vegetables crops can make a difference in flavor and stability. Seed packets are helpful, but don’t take the dates literally. Maturity rates can vary each year depending upon conditions such as changes in watering, type of soil and fertilizer as well as weather conditions. Using tactile and visual cues are really the most reliable way to know when to harvest.

Can you recommend any high-quality fertilizer? Cause actually I thought that it is more harmful than useful.

Whether you use ag grade granular or organic fertilizer formulations adding the right quantity of fertilizer to your EarthBoxes is really more important.

If you're referring to something like Osmocote as a high quality product that would work fine, but is extremely expensive and not cost effective. You'd still have to add the same amount of nitrogen with ag grade granular or Osmocote.
