Title: Organic Fertilizer Strip

Is it necessary to place the fertilizer in a strip if you are using a 5-5-5 organic fertilizer?  Can’t it just be scattered in the potting mix?

The fertilizer strip is a main advantage of the EB system, regardless of organic or conventional.
