Title: Raised earthboxes
Post by: Sizzle on June 14, 2020, 04:38:08 pm
Just wondering if anyone has a cheap way to raise earthboxes to waist height or so? Thought I saw that the garden doc built some pretty cool support tables? I have a slight slope where I want to extend my earthbox garden and wonder if I could accommodate the slope by building a metal or wood table frame with legs shorter at the top of the slope & longer on downhill side? Or would some small retaining wall of stone or pressurized lumber be better? I’m just trying to keep it functional not necessarily beautiful as it’s in the back corner of the yard? I mostly need it leveled so earthbox overflow works correctly for 10 EBs!! Thanks for any ideas!

My tables were shorter on one end to handle the slope, use ground contact pressure treated

Thanks- you’re so handy!! Is there a picture or dimensions somewhere that you’d be willing to share- it would be nice not to have to reinvent the wheel & I might not be as clever as you!!?!?
