Hi! I just got my first Earthbox and planted two determinate tomato plants in it 6 days ago. I followed the directions exactly as it said and filled the water reservoir like it said. We had a lot of rain this past week and some cooler temperatures. I didn’t fill the reservoir again until yesterday because of the rain. I noticed a couple of days ago that the plant stems and leaves seem to be curling downward. Is this normal? Did they get too much water? Not enough water? Could it be due to the cooler temps? Today is the first day we had good temps and lots of sunshine. Do determinate tomatoes do this normally? Thanks!

I'm assuming you're using the plastic cover. The cover sheds rain water. You need to add water to the reservoir everyday.

You can't over water because of the reservoir drain, like drain hole on your bathroom sink.

Today they are looking wilted! I have filled the reservoir until it comes out the overflow, but it is almost as if the water isn’t getting to the plants. The dirt underneath the cover looks dry. I wish I could post a picture but the forum keeps saying it’s too big no matter what size I make it!

Water around the plant through the cover holes
