I posted this on "My EB Photos" but can't post pics yet so copied it to here

Hello all! I have been reading quite a bit of info on this site the past few weeks and learned a great deal. I have been a professional
landscape contractor for the past 20 years and was always too beat to do anything in the yard other than maintaining the landscape. (actually I had my crews do that ) Two years ago I sold my business and returned to college (NCSU) to obtain a BS in horticulture with an emphasis in landscape design. Not having to garden as an occupation has renewed my love for growing all things. This spring I put in a huge rose garden and perennial border. I also wanted to have a vegetable garden as I always had one growing up but did not want to tear out any established plantings, hardscape, etc. as it's finally looking mature since it has been in for 11 years. So my plan was to grow some vegetables in half whiskey barrels and was about to order 6 from a distillery in Kentucky when I stumbled upon Earthboxes while doing a google search for container gardening. Spent a huge amount of time lurking on the boards and decided this was perfect for my needs. I picked up 8 EB's and got started on making the trellis that was laid out by someone on the boards (I think RatedPG). I added some heavy duty casters to the bottoms of the trellis which will allow me to move them to get an additional 3 hours of sun each day. Where they are currently they will get 5 hours from about 8:30am - 1:30pm and then I can move them about 15 feet and they can get 3 more. Might not be feasible once they are really growing but that is what gardening is all about, trying things and learning what works and what flops. I have Tomatoes, Jalapeno, Bell Pepper, Banana Pepper, Cayenne Pepper, Cantaloupe, Watermelon, Butternut Squash, Cucumber, and White Corn.  Thanks to all of the posts and info that have been shared and I look forward to contributing.

"Hi-Desert Gardening" is NOT an oxymoron.

I love the colors of your trellis.  I believe I also saw a rectangle trellis you posted on another thread.  They are wonderful.

Thanks! They are working out great. They get full sun from about 8:30am until 1:30pm and then I wheel them about 20' and they get full sun from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. Nice thing is both sides of the box get their fair share of sunlight
