I was very disappointed with them. Placed an $80 order online. Two weeks after I ordered,I checked the order status online and found that nothing had shipped. I used their on-line chat to get an order status.  The person advised that one seed packet that I ordered was on backorder till the following week, and therefore the order was being held. I asked them to ship the remainder immediately, and they offered to upgrade the shipping. So far so good.
Just for grins, I checked the current availability of the seed that was supposedly on backorder. Low and behold, the web store says it's ready to ship. Hmmmmm is it in stock or not?
Two days later, I check the order status, and still nothing had shipped.
I called on their customer service line, and asked to cancel the entire order because I was tired of
waiting for it.  On their behalf, my credit card had not been billed.
Three years ago, I ordered quite a bit from them and was very happy with the shipping and quality of the merchandise. As a result, I did not do my due diligence and check them out.
A quick check of their on-line reputation, showed many people are having problems with delayed shipments, and slow refunds. Anyone else having problems?

Strange, I order from them a lot and have never had problems, but then maybe I'm just lucky. One thing that I have found out about all of the seed companies is that you will have more issues with back ordered items during the peak season. I try to make all my purchases in January.

Park Seed was sold by the Park family in 2005, and sold through bankruptcy again in 2010.  That may account for the differences in customer service.

randycz- I had the same experience you did with park seed. Earlier this year I placed a $ 50.00 order. My order wouldn't ship because of 1 seed packet that was on back order. I called 2x to get them to ship me my order immediately. I will make sure not to order from them again. It took almost a month to get my order sent to me. Terrible company to deal with.
