Different Veggies in Same EB

I looked at the square foot gardening technique - is it possible to plant 2 different type of veggies in the same earthbox, say, carrots and beets?

Yes, but the configuration is important. Earthbox has not officially given us a layout for those crops, but some members have successfully grown them... they came up with their own layout.

Click on the magnifying glass next to the search field, and you will get the advanced search page. Try searching on beets or carrots to get posts that will show the layouts that were used.

Meanwhile, If anyone reading this can repost it here, that would sure simplify things...

I do that but I follow companion planting guidelines because some plants don't like each other, and others if you grow them to closely together can cross-pollinate.

I have 4 boxes:

Box 1: 4 Celery, 8 Snow Peas, 6 Bush Beans

Box 2: 1 overgrown cherry tomato (who knew they got so big), two bell peppers

Box 3: Two Tomatoes

Box 4: 2 Japanese Eggplants 1 Zucchini

I have flowers, herbs, garlic, and onions also growing placed strategically between the boxes to keep out a lot of pest. So far this year I've used no pesticides, etc... so it seems to be working.
