Last year I had such great success with our one earth box that this season we decided to do away with our raised bed and just go with four earth boxes.  I got a great price at ACE hardware on 4 boxes at the end of last summer (40% off).   Found a great staking system at Home Depot for $8.  We are doing a Goliath Bush Tomato and Celebrity Tomato.  The bush has already produced two early tomatoes after just three weeks.  1 Zucchini, 2 Cucumber, 2 yellow squash, 1 egg plant, 3 bell peppers and jalapeños round out the rest.  Looking forward to some fresh veggies :-)

I like how you were able to use your wooden fence to attach the netting for your cucumbers and squash. That was very smart!

I see more room on that fence for more boxes though.  Smiley

Definitely plan on adding a few more when the heat breaks in the fall.

Thank you butterfly girl.  Curious if you've had any success with any thing July and August when our temps top 100 or do you just wait until fall to plant some winter veggies?

Peppers and eggplant do well.  Melons are ripening during that time.  I usually go ahead and start my Fall tomatoes so they have time to get large by the time it cools off.  I'll probably try to see if I can keep beans and cucumbers going.  North Haven gardens has a good planting guide for this area. http://nhg.com/edibles.htm

Things are growing quite nicely... I added two new boxes so I'm up to a total of six.  Trying watermelon, cantaloupe and strawberries in the new boxes.  Also added a Sweet yellow banana pepper to the pepper box.

Daniel,
Welcome to the forum !!  Looks like you are on your way, already expanding !!  Good choice of tomatos....not too tall, Ultimato staking should work well with the Determinates like Celebrity and the Goliath.
Keep us posted !  Good luck  Wink

Well... A funny thing must have happened at Home Depot.  Or at least someone thought it would be funny to mislabel the peppers.  What I thought was Green, Yellow, & Orange Bell peppers turned out to be all Jalapeño Plants... 4 Jalapeños in a single earth box...I now have more peppers then I know what to do with.

Also lost my Center cucumber and squash plants... not sure why.

Let's just say next year I will not be buying plants from a big box store... time to find a good nursery near by

On the silver lined side of the cloud, the eggplants, peppers, and tomatoes are producing well.

I am glad everything is producing well for you.

I have always had good luck with plants from Calloway's, but am mainly starting from seed now.

Afraid that is the nature of way too many people now.  Making life miserable for others is somehow viewed as "fun."  So, go ahead and call me a throwback.  People were nicer when I was young.  It is just a plain fact. Our toys have advanced greatly.  We haven't.

To try to make the lemonade, give the excess away and try to get recipients interested in growing them for themselves--in EBs of course.  In your area, there certainly should be lots of people eager to use jalapeños.

Some Updated Images...

Watermelon & Cantaloup / Strawberries and Basil boxes

Tomatoes and Pepper Boxes
Of course that's 3 Jalapeños (thanks to the folks at HomeDepot)  1 Banana and 2 green bell peppers

Cucumber / Zucchini & Eggplant Boxes
For some reason I lost my 2 yellow squash and 1 cucumber plant... I'm wondering if it's too late to get something new in there as we are just a few weeks away from our triple digit months

Some growing fruit
