Cool...An EB for your BD!! Then you can fill it during the winter, add dolomite, let it set for two months while you plant seedlings!!! Bouncy
Don't fret too much...I haven't even planted my tomatoes yet cause it is too cold and rainy in Montana!!! And BTW, (from another thread where you posted) square buckets have corners!!!!! Are you giving your tomatoes the SNACK? That might help the BER.... Tongue

Congratulations, Stephen. Nice Harvest.

I thought the same thing about the snack, too, Mobius, but according to other posters it does not help. I've been lucky, I guess, since I haven't had it throughout the season. However, thanks to this thread, I DID have nightmares last night about it having it on every tomato. Grin

My cilantro was doing really well until it got over 80 degrees in the daytime. Then it bolted and I've had to pull it up. I've read that cilantro doesn't do well in heat...makes no sense to me, all these places in the world that use cilantro in their cooking and it's tropical heat!!!

Also! You can post more than one pic in a post. To the right of where you select the file to attach to the post, it says (more attachments). If you click on that, it will let you attach up to 4. It took me a while to figure that out, too, because it doesn't look like a clickable link.

Excellent Stephen.  I always grow some cherrys, usually include SunGold and Sun Sugar because even if I have probems with the larger maters, the cherrys seem to make it.  And there is usually enough for me and the birds (rats, mice, etc.)

Stephen,
Your picture of the yellow 1/2 eaten tomato does not appear to be due to birds....

it looks to me like something bigger is after your tomatoes.....could be squirrels, raccoons, rats etc...

Your boxes look like they are growing well...
Good luck

Great job on the cukes, Stephen!

Yeah, I think it is time to take out the Cilantro, but your zone will allow you to combine long and short season plants in ways that can give you two or three different crops from one box in one season. You can probably replace the Cilantro with Parsley, Basil, or Dill.

Or, when growing tomatoes, pair long season indeterminate types with a short season, early determinates that will bloom, fruit, and be pulled up just as the bigger plant begins to demand more water.
