The summer season is finally here. Been doing a little garden expansion and building raised benches for the newest EB acquisitions. A little bit of over engineering, but not going any where. Also shot of the last of Bright Lights Swiss chard and Winterbor kale that gets harvested on Friday. Then the heirloom tomatoes, mini eggplants and peppers are transplanted. Neither the EBs or myself get much of a breather between seasons.

Everything looks fantastic. It sure is nice to have some of those boxes raised to waist height when refreshing and planting.

Yes, it would be nice to elevate some of the boxes like that. What are your bench dimensions? Your boxes are close. Will you keep them like that throughout the season? I thought the plants need more air.

Looks great Doc, do you and Mrs GardenDoc, want to adopt me? Couldn't you use a good farm hand? I do eat a lot, but I don't drink a lot, so your wine reserve is fairly safe. I'll use the snack and FBP?

That's about the spacing I give all of the EBs regardless of crop |

On a couple of counts, first, that I am a fearless leader, second the WTH and third, obviously you don't follow Doc on facebook, man the food that man cooks on his grill.....I could lose my status as leader for a while! |

I'm territorial about Heritage Cottage Urban Nano Farm. The UNF is actually a philosophy of maximizing vegetable production in small space gardens in urban settings. It's one of the more popular topicsI spek to groups about. |

That's a fine looking set up. I'm thinking about making some stands like the stands in your second picture. I just have to stop being lazy. Or more accuratly overworked....  |

Oh yes, I grill almost every veggie known to man, especially since I gave up red meat quite a few years ago. I make a lot of kabobs, and I grill squash and tomatoes a lot! |
