Basil is an easy, productive and popular herb to grow.  The Japanese Beetle is its worst enemy. Knocking them into a cup of soapy water will destroy them.  Check out the link below to envision how you can successfully grow Sweet Basil in an EarthBox garden and who knows, even make a little $.

* Keep basil sweet by pinching off the small flowers that develop on top of the plant.

Sorry I am late on this but the dehydrator is an Excalibur. A must have for drying large amounts of herbs, etc. Worth every penny and has paid itself off in under 3 years for me.
