The melons are doing great! Sad to say that I lost the first 4 watermelons trying to put a sling under them. I was away for 2 weeks and by the time I got home they were the size of bowling balls and they fell off as I tried to support them.

Love that our senses of humor are back and well on the forum.  And no offense, coming from another woman, but nice melons (I feel like Elaine on a Seinfeld episode)  Now I want to talk bras er I mean melon support. I can plainly see it on the watermelons, but don't see any on the lopes? My lopes would be out of control, rolling down my mountain at this point without support?

Great, I get to follow one of Cusman's "works of art".
Anyhow, without support those cantaloupes will separate from the stem prior to
full slip which is maximum sugar development.  This does not apply to Cushman's
melons.

Speaking of bringing up the rear, there was some hanky panky going on in
the garden this evening.  The one on top was busting some moves...well you get the
picture.

Cheesy Oh my god I love this, freakin' hilarious and I just going to post this link to this funny video I seen on YTube that some chick used about 40 of her bras as supports for all her melons she has in the garden.  I didn't know if it was appropriate or not to post it and now I seen this LOLOL - Are those Sugar Babies & what variety of Cantaloupes are those ? I now want to grow these the next season but wonder if they will be almost all leaves and vines.

As long as her boobs aren't in the bras you should be good to go.  Grin
