the squash needs water twice a day? is that normal?

I am watering a lot of things twice a day, including my zucchini.  The plants are VERY thirsty.

So far I've only had to water once a day and the only things that seem to take a lot of water are the zucchini, kale and lettuce. It hasn't gotten all that hot here so (mostly 70's and low 80's) so that's probably why.

Your EBs look wonderful. Isn't this fun???

I have to water all my tomatos, my zuchinni, and my big dill/cilantro.parsley box twice a day.  The dill is nearly 4 feet tall and drinks just like the other big plants.
