It looks like I may be going either Fri or Sat.

So now this nice auntie has to go to a kiddie volleyball game on Sun and can't go to the LA Show on that day, which would be best for me.  Argh! lol!

Cheesy I'm sooo happy to be a part of the EB Forum!!!  Seeing and hearing about all your hard work you put into your gardens, really motivates me to get mine done!  My garden may not turn out exactly as I had been hoping, but at least it's gettin' there! Thanks all, for taking the time to post your photos and for writing about your experiences in using EBs and container gardening in general.

Welcome Tania,
Where are you located? Tell us a little about yourself.
I am using EB's for the second year and love them. I started with one and now have seventeen (eighteen if you include the one I took to my parents). It's so nice to be able to step out the kitchen door and grab fresh vegetables & herbs for dinner. So much healthier too.
I hope you have as much fun with this as the rest of us!!!

Hi Tania,
So how did your bricklaying project go? Did you achieve your perfect garden? I have enjoyed reading your posts on multiple topics. It has been raining in North Cali this weekend, so I didn't get to plant anymore EBs. They say it will be clear but chilly this week. I still need to plant about 6 more boxes.
     Do you winter garden?

Haven't gotten started on the bricklaying yet! I still need to finish a few other projects before I can start with the bricks. We might do it in sections, just to make it a bit easier. No...haven't achieved the perfect garden yet. Hopefully by next Summer. I'm not set on the exact layout of my EBs....I can't make up my mind!  It IS CHILLY indeed! And windy too!  As far as winter gardening is concerned...I don't plant specific plants for the winter. I'll keep growing whatever is alive from Fall. Like Tomatoes, and peppers. That's about it. I'm going to give winter sowing a try this year, hopefully I'll have a heads start for next year. I always get started LATE. That's a bad habit I'd like to break!  New Year's Resolution...plant EARLY!  I have some EBs that are available for planting....Hmmm...what to plant?!!

Wow! I can't belive so long has passed since I was talking about laying bricks in my garden. Well, I'm happy to say We're FINALLY laying them!!!  One third is done! Now we're working on the 2nd third. The first portion took one pallet of bricks. We just had two more delivered!
