Happy Easter!

According to Wikipedia, a "Gardener" is someone who practices gardening and "Gardening" is the practice of growing plants. Here at EarthBox we take that definition to a new level! Currently, I am saving our used coffee grounds for composting and have inquired about using soy ink in our printers. We also donated and planted a unique specimen tree at a local park (replacing one that was cut down by mistake) to show our commitment to the community. Last year, one item did not make it to my compost pile; yellow onion skins. I saved them in a paper bag and used them along with used red beet juice to color my Easter Eggs. These items that would normally be discarded made a unique dye and the price was right! A great activity to teach children; even at age 40+ I had a great time creating them.
Wishing all our Forum members a Happy Easter!
