Help, my plants, tomatoes and peppers, have never done well in my grow box.  It's  as if they rot.  Could it be because the ground is always wet?  I have three boxes and sure would like to find success.

You will have more sucess putting your questions in the Questions and Answers section:

Rotting is a sign of improper potting mix. What exactly have you been using during your rotting problem.
no soil, sand, manure, composted or otherwise.

Total time logged in - Do we really need this?

I feel guilty enough buying too many boxes plus the AWS, staking system etc.  Any way to squelch the amount of time I spend reading this forum?  Cheesy

I like the stats because they let me see how things are going- if my total time logged in went down suddenly, I'd know something was wrong.  Besides, think of it as educational time!   Grin  Anyway, you can't really start worrying until you get past hours and into days  Shocked

See, now that's like 79 hours of fun!  Approaching a semester's worth of knowledge!  Yeah, that's it!  That's the ticket!

I am hoping there is an answer to my question and I just missed it.. Undecided
Is there a way to save a particular thread, like with regular email you can save it.
I have tried marking it as unread and that helped for a while, but with all the traffic on the site, if you miss a day checking you have so many to review and they get lost or deleted by mistake Cry
maybe I am the only one who has this problem--I try to read every day but sometimes don't spend time I should...
I just hate to search and search for a message I recall and then need to reference later....
It is  especially difficult later to search if the thread has changed topic... Embarrassed

Not as such- you can save the thread in your browser to your hard drive though.  It depends on the browser as to how much and what gets saved, but most browsers these days will save images as well as text.  That should allow you to save things into your My Documents, or any other folder you'd like.  Multiple pages have to be saved individually though- so for long threads it may take a bit of work.

Thanks, Paul
I will have my computer geek son work on this when he visits next week..
I was taking to printing some of the threads, but like you said some are very long and it takes some doing.
I just wondered if I was missing a basic step that everyone else knew... Embarrassed
Thanks again for the quick response  Cheesy

Unfortunately, the modification for the forum software to allow it to bookmark the threads doesn't install cleanly on this version.  You can also always bookmark a thread in your browser- that at least gives you a way to name and save the location.

There is a way to do this...

you can create a "bookmark" or favorite, or create a "shortcut"
to a thread
to a specific post.

When you are reading a thread, drag the icon just at the left of the url address to the desktop, into a folder, or to favorites bar.

To get a bookmark or shortcut to a specific post, have that post on the screen, click on the title line of the post, then follow the directions just above.

Now you have "saved the thread."  It is not physically in your computer, but you can always get back to the thread or to the post as long as you have a working internet and browser.
