Thanks so much for this. I thought I had added my zone to my profile, but it never seemed to show up. Now I know what I did wrong.  Embarrassed

Don't forget to add your "area of the world" you reside in and your "zone" for all of us to see!

Do we have any non-USA people here?  I would think the Canucks grow 'maters...?

Europe?  Australia?

By default, the latest post is at the bottom.  If the topic has many pages of comments, it is a little difficult to follow.  By changing this option in your PROFILE area, the latest post will be at the top.

This post will tell you how to resize and post your photos:

In your open post screen, look to the lower left for additional options. That will lead you to the photo option.

USDA 10: Sunset ZONE 22, South Los Angeles, CA

Here is a link to the National Gardening Association's USDA Plant Hardiness Zones by zip code. Put in a 4 digit US zip code and  it will tell you the plant hardiness zone.

http://www.garden.org/zipzone/

Also a link to the more detailed Sunset Plant zones

http://www.sunset.com/garden/climate-zones/

Here is the Sunset description of my zone USDA 10: Sunset ZONE 22. Colder-winter Parts of Southern California's Coastal Region
Growing season: Mar. to early Dec. Winter lows seldom fall below 28 degrees F/-2 degrees C (records are around 21 degrees F/-6 degrees C), though colder air sinks to this zone from Zone 23. Summers are warm; rain comes in winter. Climate here is largely oceanic.

Guess I'm a non-USA "EBer".  I'm currently in Costa Rica, home state New York.  Had EB's for many years on Long Island.  With CR's hot sun, have to monitor the boxes all day and watch for distressed leaves and move them to the shade.  Never thought I'd be babysitting veggies.
