SF Bay Area near SJ Zone 8b

For those of us who never quite get around to making our own seed-sowing & planting calendar, I came across this online resource which gives week by week info based on your first and last frost dates.  It was a link from a Cornell website.  http://www.chestnut-sw.com/growform.htm.

Your area's Extension (aka Cooperative Extension) should know your local frost dates; there are links to websites in this Tips & Tricks section.

My grandfather used to say that once in your life you need a doctor, a lawyer, a policeman, and a preacher. But every day, three times a day you need a farmer.
